Visual Storytelling Creativity Blog Post 3
This week, I did a creative exercise found in the book:
"CAFFEINE FOR THE CREATIVE MIND" by Stefan Mumaw and Wendy Lee Oldfield.
The exercise can be found on page 82.
What is that thing Dangling from your other arm?
In basketball terms, the "off"hand is the player's weak hand, the one they use least. As most people are right-handed, the "off"hand is often the left hand. As most players are right-handed, the left hand is used little, but the player who learns to use the "off"hand can secure an advantage, We are going to use our "off" hand a little right now. Using whichever hand is you "off" hand, create a squiggle on a piece of paper. Nothing too intricate, just a very simple squiggle. Now use your strong hand to create something sports-related out of that squiggle. It could become a piece of equipment, a player, or a scene. Whatever you might see.
